The newly created Entrepreneurship Scholars Society has held three monthly meetings so far, with attendees including colleagues from the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, the Pima SBDC, Pima's Micro-Business Advancement Center, Wells Fargo, Pima Community College, PPEP, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month, from 11:45 - 1:00 pm, at the MAC offices, 330 N. Commerce Park Loop, Suite 160.
The agenda for the August meeting was as follows:
1. Introductions
2. McGuire report to group on status of IFA Regional Mini-Grants
3. General conversation about what each of us is planning for the upcoming Fall semester: courses/workshops/events planned, and discussion of teaching and curriculum needs, best practices, etc, as related to Fall teaching plans
4. Discussion of planned September Scholars Lunch, hosted by the McGuire Center (tentative date, Wednesday, September 2nd)
